After last week’s much-buzzed about two-day candid interview and
captivating performance on the season premiere of The Oprah
Winfrey Show, Whitney Houston’s critically-acclaimed CD, I Look To
You, is No. 2 on this week’s Top 200 Albums chart with an amazing
155,588 units sold, according to Nielsen/Soundscan. Commenting
about her appearance on the show, Houston states: “I knew in my
heart that when I was ready to tell my story it would be to Oprah
Winfrey, who has shown tremendous support for me throughout the
years and whom I have a deep respect for. We felt an incredible
connection the day of the interview and I am delighted with the
positive response to the show.”
